Property Buying Process in Alanya Shorter now

If foreigners buy a property in Alanya in their names, the properties do not have to be in Turkish military strategic zones. When foreigners decided to buy property in Alanya, an application was made to the Alanya land registry office. The land registry office made an application to the military officers and this procedure took about six weeks. 

This was a very long time for foreigners, so they were giving power of attorney to somebody they could trust or coming again to buy property in Alanya. This was exhausting for apartment buyers in Alanya.

Our company, which is a member of ALTSO made an application to the chairman of ALTSO about this issue. After a couple of meetings with the military office in İzmir and meetings with the department of the governor, we finally got a positive answer. 

Chairmen of ALTSO declared that asking the military when buying property in Alanya is finished now. From now when foreigners want to buy property in Alanya to their name they can finish all procedures within two days.
