Granting Power of Attorney to Buy Property in Turkey

If you cannot be present yourself you can authorize another person to represent you at the Land Registry Office to complete buying or selling your property in Turkey. If you are unable to be in Turkey during the title deed transfer process you can authorize a solicitor, or a person in Basic Apartment real estate, as your representative and we can carry out the whole process for you.

When granting the power of attorney to another person he/she can then act on your behalf to complete the whole process.

Power of attorney can be granted at a Turkish notary or the Turkish consulate or embassy in your home country. While you are granting power of attorney at a notary or the consulate/embassy, a sworn translator will be there ready to translate everything into your native language.

 If you are sending the power of attorney from your home country, the documents have to Apostille stamp on it.
