How to Get Electric Abonnement in Turkey

Those who want to get electric abonnement in Turkey must apply the authorized company office with documents needed. When you are getting the first-time abonnement, a deposit is charged and when you terminate the abonnement the deposit paid back to you by bank or cash

Required Document to Get Electric abonnement in Turkey

-Title Deed Copy. If you are getting for your own apartment title deed copy is needed, If you are renting the apartment, renting contract is needed

-DASK(Earthquake) insurance

-Electric Counter Serial number. If you buy a new building, the builder installs an electric counter to your apartment and ıf you buy a resale apartment electric counter is already in the apartment.

-Passport copy

-Tax number

Getting Water Abonnement

The local municipality is authorized to deliver water to the apartments. to get water abonnement you must apply to water delivery department offices of the local municipality with the documents below

Gas subscription

The natural gas line is not covered all the cities but in big cities such as Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, and Izmir. To get natural gas connected after you buy your property, you must make an application to their Office. The property is checked and If it's appropriate they connect to gas to your property. It cost about 170 Euro

Electricity and water are usually paid monthly and property tax is payable either twice yearly or through an annual payment. We recommend ordering an automatic payment from your bank.
